The Greyhound Foundation is thrilled to announce that we have received a third round of funding from the Partnership for Better Health to continue implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) across the District.

This funding supports PBIS integration at SASHS, SAMS, GBlues, and Nancy Grayson Elementary. An additional $7,500 awarded this fall strengthens programming at SAIS and James Burd.

PBIS is a state-mandated framework in Pennsylvania focused on improving student health, behavior, and school climate through proactive systems that teach and reinforce positive behaviors.

The Partnership for Better Health works collaboratively with the Shippensburg area to address pressing community health challenges. To date they have granted over $60,000 through The Greyhound Foundation in support of services that benefit the SASD.

Together, we are strengthening our school environments that enhance student wellness, resilience, and success. We are incredibly proud of our partnership with THE PARTNERSHIP for Better Health!
