It was a very long time coming.  A long-awaited education budget and higher education reforms being passed in Pennsylvania with significant implications for schools, teachers, students, and our broader community.

Shippensburg Area School District Superintendent Bill August spoke to the crowd gathered on SU’s campus with Governor Shapiro, SU President Charles Patterson, former lady Greyhound and SU education student Laci Hoover, and Pa. Secretary of Education, Dr. Mumin.

Here's to a big win, especially for us in Shippensburg.  Here’s to funding for educational programs, better resources for classrooms, better salaries and stipends for teachers, and overall improvements in the quality of education.

Here’s to our children’s future! – Sue Fink, Exec Director, The Greyhound Foundation
