There’s nothing better than watching confidence grow before your eyes.

This summer, Smooth Sailing 2026 welcomed students entering Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd & 3rd grade for a fun, engaging program designed to make the transition into the new school year a positive one.

Over the course of the program, our youngest Greyhounds explored their classrooms, made new friends, practiced early literacy and math skills, and became more comfortable with school routines—all while having FUN!

Our families expressed heartfelt appreciation for the program, sharing how much it means to have their children begin the school year feeling comfortable, confident, and excited about learning.

Thank you to our incredible Shippensburg teachers and staff for creating an environment where every child feels welcomed and celebrated.

The Greyhound Foundation loves supporting this program for the kiddos and you!
