Mary Jane Taylor Education Mini-Grants

Amanda Kirkpatrick, K-8 Gifted Teacher, was one of several recipients of a 2022-2023 Mary Jane Taylor Mini-Grant. Her students explored STEM boxes and presented on their experiences. They also traveled to Lancaster, PA to visit both the North Museum of Nature and Science and the Lancaster Science Factory.
In Ms. Kirkpatrick’s words: “Not only were we all engaged academically, we were able to make memories together.”
Thank you, Ms. Kirkpatrick, for bringing this wonderful experience to our SASD students.
